Differences between TCP and FTP

I Still not able to understand that why people copy from wikipedia and then paste on the forums...I think everyone is required to posts his/her geniune thoughts here.

In computer networking, TCP means Transmission Control Protocol wherein it operates at a higher level that involves the web browser and web server. While FTP known as File Transfer Protocol involves exchange and manipulate files over an IP through client-server architecture.
