I need help???

I have just downloaded a new version of windows xp for my computer its pretty basic, acer 512 mb ram, 80 gig hdd, the old version of xp i had ran streaming videos perfectly on full screen mode this one however does not it is a windows pirated edition but i see no reason why it should not still play full screen streaming ... any help would be really appreciated evry1 thanks for reading

Do you have the drivers for your graphics card? That could be your problem.
