NOD32 Unable to clean virus

Hello there,

Recently, my computer was infected with a virus. I did my best to clean most of it using Spyware Doctor and Ad-Aware.
The effects of the virus are not noticeable anymore. However when I run my NOD32 On demand scan, it shows a total of 24 'infected files' and that NOD32 is 'unable to clean' them. I am unable to quarantine them.

Is there any other way to clean/quarantine these files. Spyware Doctor and ad-aware are unable to detect these files.

Thanks

Have you tried running the scans in safe mode? Also, the new version of NOD32 allows the creation of a boot CD that works wonders for scanning computers.

Also look up combo fix. It's made by bleepingcomputer.com and does a great job at removing things that are just too stubborn for everything else.

Thanks guys,
I reformatted my HDD and have installed the new NOD32 Antivirus 4. Seems like I had the old version of NOD32 v3.
