Question about Windows Activation?

if you have a valed key and cd is it still illegal to have another copy. you can use nlite and take the win acctavation off the cd. i mean i have a windows cd and key that i bought. and i also have a no actvation required winxp is that still illegal.

It must be a VLK. It's legal if you bought it from a University, Corporation, etc. I have one that my dad got from U of M.

so even if you remake a cd from your orginal disk with n lite its illegal.

If you are using your own CD key that you bought to install it, it is legal, as far as I know.
