Sell My Laptop ?

ok well for the past 3 weeks i havent been able to use my laptop as my charger broke and i currently dont have a job to buy a new 1,

its about 16 months old now its got a celeron processor with 1Gb RAM 60Gb hd and vista home premium,

now im thinking the laptop is fairly old and i could do with a new one anyway, so heres my plan.

borrow £20 off my mum buy a charger for it, sell the laptop for like £200 ish maybe £250, and with that money i could, do my driving test which would make it 10X easier to find a job and when ive found a job i could buy a new laptop anyway ????

does that sound like a good idea or not ??
thing is ive had enough lessons to be able to drive last lesson i had with my instructor she said to book my test but sadly i had no money, so she thought i was ready.
and by not having a charger for the last 3 weeks it sorta proves i can live without my laptop for a while

That's way too much for a notebook with those components. I'd say around $300 at the max.

Don't compare your notebook with a IBM Thinkpad or a Compaq Evo.

I bought a thinkpad the other month.

900Mhz processor and 512MB RAM, cost me £40 (just under $80).

you want to sell it for £250, even thoughg you could get a shiney new one in PCworld for £299? that's better spec?

I should imagine that you'll get £150 max for it.

well you can get a celeron laptop for about £270 new these days so i would say max you would be looking at for yours is about £200
