to me, a difference of 1k isnt a "kick the crap out of" difference

however i do agree that the price might be a bit high in comparison to the 8800GT but that's not what he's selling, this card goes for $175 on newegg new, the price could probably be negotiated.

Yea, while not nearly as fast as a 8800GT 512MB (G92), for the asking price, it's a great deal. The thing beats both the HD 3870 and HD 3850.

I'm almost tempted to grab it.

They run really cool too, even with the stock cooler. Mine never broke 50* Celsius with the stock cooler.
