I run mine and put it in hibernate when not using it. Restart it about every 2 weeks or so I guess when it starts to slow down. Sometimes I will shut it down and leave it off for the night.

Let us know if you get this error :p

dont use hibernate. it screws up windows files esp for a desktop.
 
Computers when left on for long periods, I find slow down somewhat.
They do require restarts to clear.
There is no need to leave them on when not required.

Fans for example only last a certain amount of time, and the same can be said for the components, of which there are a lot of.

If the computer isn't being used, and isn't being used for any task, leaving it fully on, even in a sleep state is wasting power, and wasting the computers resources.
