Once you hit 500 posts, you become Senior Member, and 1000 posts gets you "Guru" status.

Just make sure they're meaningful posts, and in time not only will you be a guru, but if you are helpful enough, you might be considered for the CF privileged as well.

Personally I think it's awesome that I was picked to be a CF Privileged member, I've been here for a long time (going on 4 years) and helped a lot of people.

I'm also a priviledged member & some have said that I shouldn't retain this status so I PM'd David & queried that, he said that I had been a good member for years,being helpful to members etc, so I was entitled to keep it on that basis.
If anyone wants to take it up with him, be my guest.
