change your encryption to WEP. some pci wireless cards only are able to handle certain network encryptions. change your router to that and it very well may work. if you pci card supports WPA then its sumthing else. i really recommend you try that

If it can connect to it at all, it can work on WPA. So why go to a worse security measure?

Have you tried newer drivers on the wireless card?

I finally got the chance to work on it some more today.......did some of the things that you guys suggested...........it hasn't popped up with any error messages yet, so hopefully it is now fixed!
