Looking for AntiVirus that isn't a HOG

AVG is terrible in comparison to NOD32, both speed, system resources and detection date wise.

I know that, but he asked for the free one, and I think that AVG is better than Avast.

I use this, granted its not free but this program actually does what its supposed to, it prevented an attempted Malware attack, on two occasions.

If you are looking for something that has to update with signatures all the time, Anti Virus will get you by, until you get hit with a Zero-Day exploit.

If you want something that needs no signature updates then you need Shadow...
