Got my old DC up and running, all my media is temporarily on there right now [waiting for parts for a new media center isnt my old one died a fatal and comlete death] and i cant map drives. it seems to be an error with my netBT on the server side, i can ping the server via IP, and i can RDC to it, as well as connect via UltraVNC. But whenever i try to goto \\DCMain or map a drive or net use a shared resource on the server it fails.
wondering if anyone else has run into this problem, im betting heavily on the NIC being bad [PCI realtek 8139, no onboard, its a old machine, but its not used for anything intensive]
im about to swap it out with another nic i have, but again just curious if anyone has seen this issue before.
