Video info...

I have an mp3/video player, and I need to encode video's to it's format, but I don't really know much about the format. The player had a sample file in it, so I checked it's properties, but didn't find much information on the video and audio codec's. Is there any program out there that can tell me the full info on a video file(the codec, bitrate, framerate, etc.)?

Well, the thing is, that I don't want to use the crappy "official" program, but I want to just find out everything about the video's codec

you will find it in there or if you open up the song in notepad!! it will give you the codec there.
