So it would be spending $160 to gain an extra $100 on the sale price,I think i will upgrade it and dont worry about selling it,just be happy with what i have

Thats really expensive for a harddrive, I would have sold you a 100GB for $50 (USD) I guess you should keep the laptop. It doesn't have such bad specs now, as long as it seems fast enough for you.
