Need Help Building Home Network

OK I have Satellite Internet and which only has one modem but with the new computer being done this thursday I want it to have internet so after searching the internet I saw on a website a Dual Modular 8-Pin Wall Jack and I was wondering if anyone has used one of these before and how hard it is to hook everything up.

That wall jack will not split up your internet connection into two connections. They are fairly easy to wire up if you have a good punchdown tool, which do cost a fair amount of money however. The BIX punchdown tools I use are over 100$, but sometimes you can get cheap 20$ ones.

If you want to just split your internet connection into two different connections, you need a router. This allows residential internet connections to be split into two connections.

Best bet would be getting a cheap Linksys or Netgear wired router. Most cost effective, and easy to set up.
