i have a problem w/ my internet. It always seems to disconnect then reconnect randomly, sometimes quickly, sometimes for a while longer.
I don't think it's my ISP's fault, as my VOIP phone (not connected to comp) still works while the internet is down on my comp. Also the modem indicates everything is OK.
I'm behind a router, but have tried bypassing it. didn't help, so i guess it's not the router. Also, when one computer's internet is disconneted, i check the other one, it works (both connected 2 same router).
Also, for some strange reason, when i can't go on the internet, i can still go to my networked computers and see their files..
can someone please help me with this, it's especially frustrating when i'm downloading something, and i'm almost done, then i have 2 start all over again cuz of internet disconnection, or on msn, when i'm talking w/ my friends, then i get cut off suddenly.
