Which Linux distro to suit my needs

Well I want a really graphic intense/driven OS. You know, flashy and smooth like Vista.

Also I just gotta have plug and play access like I stick in my internet cord and im good.

Also aim/msn must work on it.

That is all. A basic OS with flashy features is pretty much it.

Ideas? And screens?

Try PCLinux OS. Then install Beryl. It is sweet.

pretty much any any linux install, you can customize it to how you want.

some come with different stuff by default, but really it's up to you to customize and configure it.

fedora core is really flashy if you have time its pretty big but im sure you have fast internet

yea i agree with ubuntu. theres a mod to make it even flashier (cant remember what its called though), and msn and stuff works, and most of the stuff works after install, it all did for me

It's not a mod. It's called Beryl or Compiz.

I'd say go with ubuntu. I've used it and it's the easiest to use IMO.
