Adobe Premier pro cs3

Apart from Being able to Export out to BlueRay What makes the Program worth getting from the others.
I have Pro 2.0 but when Capturing from DV the videos are taking up mass amounts of space I wonder If Cs3 will do anything diffrent in terms of this.

What do you all think?

i dont edit video that often so mainly i just do some simple stuff in movie maker but when i had to edit a movie foe school i used a piece of software called pinnacle studio 10

I use Cinelerra if im using linux, Vegas 7 if im using Windows, and Final Cut Pro if im using a Mac.
