Is this a wireless Problem or ?

Hello guys

Im on wireless connection and i play a game called COUNTER STRIKE SOURCE and my connection is game is fine no lag outs or anything.

but this is the problem not for me but my friend

Hes on wireless aswell and his signal strength is fine n etc hes on the same isp as me aswell.

But when he plays this game is laggs out n all and has to restart his computer for the connection to come back so this means he cant play the game. this only happens when he plays the game , surfing the net n etc is fine

any ideas in what he can do to stop this shinizzle.

he using BT WIRELESS HOMEHUB (ive already said thats ya problem lol) and a USB wireless thingy me jig.


please help

well it could be a crappy connection but could also be down to his hardware. maybe its overheating. what are the specs?

amd 64 3800+

1gb ram on asus motherboard he said lol

and nvidia 7900gt 256mb

well wireless isnt recommended for gaming but it shouldnt cause big problems.
the specs look ok but overheating is still a possibility. as long as the drivers are up to date and the system is running well im not sure what else it could be.

Yeh its a pain in the arse...

cos he cant run cables through the house his mother wont like it lol
