To start off I have a HP laptop. On the front of the laptop it shows a network key on whether you want it to be connected to my router downstairs (the computer I' am on now). You guys probably know already that when it is red it shows no connection and when it's blue it shows connection. However, on my laptop the key which is a switch if you want it on or not, won't turn on. The computer will turn on, but won't even show my wireless networks without the network key being on. I depend on my laptop and the internet daily and help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

have you got all the up to date drivers for your wireless networkcard (assuming thats what youve got)? if so what card is it?

I don't have a network card. It's the drivers from which I have found out on another forum, but how am I going to access them on a webpage when I can't even connect because the network switch won't turn on..

Thank you.

The model is dv2125nr.

I got this response from another person

"Seems like your notebook uses the quick launch software instead of onetouch. Not a big deal. Here are the drivers. These are for windows xp.

Quick launch buttons:

Broadcom wireless device driver:

Links were provided to update my drivers from HP's site and still no luck.
