Kurt vonnegut wrote in Timequake that when he dies, he hopes someone will speak those words. A beloved author, his death is a horrible tragedy. I, for one, will miss his novels, and mourn the loss of one of this lifetimes most influential and funny authors. Just another step towards the death of books.

May he rest in peace. As confused as I was reading Slaughterhouse Five, I still think it's one of the best novels ever written. A great author...I'm sure he's in a better place now.
