peerguardian killed router!!!

I tried installing peer guardian
Before it even finished it locked up.
So I terminated it Completely.
Uninstalled

But noticed I was still not getting internet activity.
Went into my router and noticed that it wouldnt update
the DNS addresses and my Internet IP.

Kept doing a RELEASE and RENEW
but it wouldnt update.
I think it killed this router... or the next router(which is my ISP's router)
any help?

first thing i did was softly "restoring original configuration settings"
didnt work
next thing was try to enter all the numbers statically
didnt work
I Might not have had all the numbers correct BUT I dont think it would have worked even if I DID have them all correct.
It seems like this router and my ISP's router are not talking heh
Need to try a hard reset on both

hold the rest button on the back of the router for 15 seconds

And if that doesnt sort it, try resetting your winsock configuration. If your not sure how to do that at the cmd prompt, then download and run this program.

yea. that fixes a lot of problems. a program like peer guardian wont kill your router.
