splitting internet connection?

Ok this might be a dumb question but I have Optus Cable set up to my imac at the moment and I have my PC right next to it all set up. I was wondering if there was a way I could setup the internet on both computers to be used at the same time? Should I get a Router or something?

Yeah, you need to buy a router. Do you want wireless capabilities or not? It's convenient if you have a laptop as well, and it'll still work with a wired connection. All you have to do with the router is plug the internet into a port on it, then connect both of the computers to the router.
