XP Pro SP1 instead of XP Pro SP2

I bought a Dell computer and it had XP Pro SP2 already installed on it. I want to get rid of SP2 and put SP1 on there.

How do I go about doing that without a disc?

Why would you want to do that? Microsoft doesn't support SP1 with updates anymore.

i have to agree that would not be a good idea, and will leave more holes to exploit in the OS..
