oaky so i was looking around AVg anti Virus free edition today and i noticed that the virus vault takes up 20% of my drive 20%!!! I never ever! get viruses so can I put that down to like 1 percent?

ummm, that 20% is the maximum it is allowed to take... It's not taking any space since there isn't any files in the virus vault. I'd just leave it at 20%, though it shouldn't matter much since it probably won't ever use more than a few percents. But leaving it at 20% will make sure that there is enough space if needed.
