I'm stuck with Paint Shop Pro 8 it's alright, but nothing too fancy. I don't have 600 bucks to fork out to buy CS2. GIMP was alright, but I didn't care for it mucah because of the UI, it just didn't seem very well put together.

Paint (sometimes its useful)

Imageready
Fireworks 8

Animation/Rendering

Flash 8
Maya 6.5
Bryce 5.5

I use them all!!
Having said that, I cannot use them all,
I dont think anyone knows how to use Maya,
Bryce is nice and simple,
I'm pretty damned good at: Flash, Photoshop, Fireworks, GIMP, Imageready and Fireworks

I'm proud to say I can use every feature on paint!!

nope. paint was in windows 3.1

2.0 had colour so it had it. I dont think windows 1.0 had it (becuase of lack of colour support), but I can be wrong

Who doesn't use paint from time to time Just get bored and draw some squiggly lines

Plus paint does some stuff photoshop is a pain in the arse for doing. Like shapes, and simple drawings.
