Problem obtaining IP address from network.

Before today, I have not had any problems with my network equipment. I owna US ROBO wireless adpater. Today, when I booted my computer, I got an error message about the internet utility saying that it couldnt start because a key file was missing. So I reinstalled the software. Now, after entering the WEp key, I am unable to "renew my IP address". What should I do?

Do you get an error, or is it limited or no connectivity? Can you "see" the wireless network? Are you sure you have the correct key? Have you tried power cycling the router?

Trying unpluging your cable/dsl modem, and your router for about a minute and then plugging your cable/dsl modem and router back in that order. I thing that is what mike means by power cycling the router. I think that will more than likley fix it. Your ISP could also have been expericeing a little downtime too.
