problem having 2 ppl on the internet at the same time

Hi there, I am using Alice ADSL for my Internet (An italian telecom company), however, I am not able to have 2 ppl online at the same time. they can be online at differen times. I am logging onto it through my wireless network (linksys). When I click on the Alice ADSL properties it asks me whether I want to share the connection between other users, which I say yes to, I do the same with the Wireless network. However, when I try to connect (while someone else is using the other PC) it says that the connection failed and asks me to redial. The other problem is, when this happens it goes back to the default properties and i need to set it all back so that I can have two ppl on at the same time.

Do you have any ideas what the problem is or ways to fix this problem?

If it changes anything, one of the computers I am using is a mac, an the other is Windows. I can also only have one person on the phone at the same time. Before I was able to have 2.

use a router behind the modem .. and you can share with as many people you want.
