I haven't heard much good news with wireless mouses. Most people I know who've had them eventually switched back to corded.

Personally I've never used one.

yeah i agree, corded>wireless
keyboard eh... wireless / corded, they're the same.
speakers, get some logitech z speakers. those are nice
your rig looks nice, go for it.

Building your own pc is a great experience, it'll let you learn about the internals of a pc and how they go together.

Plus, you get to pick all the components you like, and don't have to settle for some cheap optical drive or memory like some computer manufacturers use. Totally customizable, build it your own way.

Plus the parts are aftermarket parts and you can buy replacements right off of Newegg or any other site that sells pc parts. Unlike a Dell or Gateway or any other premade computer, when certain things go bad, you have to buy it straight from them and pay an arm and a leg for it.

Looking good :)

I would recommend the Asus P5W DH Deluxe over that:

That's $270, and comes with built in Wi-fi. It has Crossfire rather than SLI, so I would also recommend changing the graphics card.

The ATi X1900XTX is just as good as the 7900GTX )Look here and is $100 cheaper!:

That card is easily good enough to play all the lastest games at the resolutions he requires :)
