If I visited a site would the law be able to track it if I didn't sign up for anything or enter any information pertaining to myself? Say I went to Cindy Crawford's website a month ago and just browsed would somebody beside me be able to find out that I was at that site on that particular day at the designated time? If anyone could answer this for me that would be of great help? Thanks in advance.

Well ... for one thing, most websites can log your IP address, and if the law was after you, then they could trace your location from there by contacting your ISP ...

proxies aren't the best. you STILL can be tracked ^_^. try spoofing, windows (XP) now supports raw sockets so it's possible on non-unix machines.
