When you go into Run and do the CMD command for IPCONFIG, you should get an IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway. The Gateway is the router IP. THe first one at the top is the IP Address of your computer or server.
this should work regardless. But it will give you a network address if you have something like a router. If you are, and it's a linksys, you can log into your router and it will tell u under "Settings"
