Static IP

I'm trying to play some games with my friend online, on the same router... and it always says that we have the same IP.
I need to change my computers IP so it dosen't show up as the same thing.

You would probably have to contact your ISP to do that...

dont contact your isp, its a router issue....go through your router config and also make sure your computers arent set up statically

Or go on a proxy or just contact your ISP

dont contact your ISP! i work for an ISP, that is your routers issue...not an isp issue (this is assuming your not talking about the ISP's router but your own personal router.)

shouup is right, if the router is the only thing connecting the two computers and the router is your then its a local network thing and has nothing to do with your isp.

you'll have to configure your router and/or your computer. we can't say more without further information (like make/model, etc)

no matter what you do all the computers will have the same ip address on the internet.

go into your game and check for LOCAL games (these are games currently playing on your network) see if you can find it and join then.
