You're sending data at the same time you're downlowding is what I read. Correct me if I read that wrong. Two things could be happening. It could be a data received correctly echo or your system could be a data drop and getting hit by alot of users at the same time.
Best bet is to go ahead and invest in a router with a solid firewall.
