Canon Multipass C555 and XP

Hello Everyone;

Trying to get this printer up an going with XP proffessional and get an error while loading that the windows logo test failed. The program is also looking fo a dll. file (cnm drv.dll). I think I am in need of updated drivers but can't seem to get any satisaction from the Canon site. Would any of you have the necessary files to get this thing up and running. Anything would be appreciated - Thanks very much - Gordie

Whenever any driver triggers the message "Failed Windows Logo Testing" , ignore it and choose to 'install anyway'. Thousands of drivers haven't passed the Windows Logo Testing, but that doesn't mean they are not to be trusted. My Epson printer driver has had several updates and still hasn't passed! Truth is, there are simply too many drivers for the Logo Testing Programme to deal with. If we only used drivers that had passed, two-thirds of the worlds computer peripherals would never get used!

Thanks for the reply. I tried to get that download (http://alpha02.c-wss.com/inc/ApplServlet?SV=WWUCA900)but find that that page is no longer available? Was wondering if you have visited lately and if the problem may be on my end. Thanks again for the reply - Gordie
