Who wants to give away their hard work so that millions can use it and rip the copyright?

No, you do not give away your work :)

Sorry if I didn't make it clear, but anyway here is my clarification about Article Marketing or should I say Free-Reprint Article Marketing.

You see its like this, to be able to get targeted traffic you need to have good content (talks about your product/service but not plain straight adverts), imagine your article in many places reaching around 1,000 - 1,000,000 readers. And to be able to have good PR you need to have good content and good number of backlinks.

You can actually do this by writing free-reprint articles.

Now, what are free-reprint articles. They are YOUR articles (with your copyright), but you just offer them to webmasters and/or ezine operators for free-reprint. They should not change the content of the article or your bylines/"About The Author". Your byline is the place where you get to mention about your niche and about you. Make your self an expert or tell them how credible your niche is, but please do reflect it in your article too :)

If a publisher reprints your articles without your bylines or under another name then you can ofcourse charge them with plagiarism or copyright infringement.

Some article directory sites that are accepting free-reprint articles allows your URLs to be hyperlinked others dont. Try http://www.isnare.com , http://ezinearticles.com and http://www.articlecity.com these article directory sites auto-hyperlinks your URL in your article's byline.

As for our service http://www.isnare.com/distribution.php (Article Distribution) we are not giving away your articles. Still they are your articles and you own 100% of its copyright, but we distribute them to all article announce/distribution groups we support for free-reprint and not giving them away for free to publishers.
