For A Pentium 4 1.3 GHz processor how many watts should my power supply have? and if my power supply were 2 small would i no it? what would be some effects?

well, you will need to think what other hardware you have, i would go for 300w, 400w to 500w then you are safe uf you buy powerful hardware.

Pentium 4 1.3GHz? 300-400 watts. YOu wouldn't want to underestimate how much it requires, because the effects could be a blown out motherboard.

Ok just wondering because I have had my computer maybe 3 years when pentium 4 just came out anyway and it came with a 250 Watt Power Supply I thought That was bad cuz im going to eventually build my computer and my AMD processor I forget which one is about equivalent to a P4 and they say it should have at least a 400W.

i had a 250w (something like that) in my old computer but when i built my new PC i added 400w to cater for other hardware.
