It wouldn't even POST, and when I ran it in a different computer running off onboard VGA graphics it didn't even recognize it so there was nothing I could do bios wize

just do a general check of the card to see if anything like transistors or resistors are broken off.....if thats okay, the card is just kablooey, I wouldn't sell something like that, but you can...lol
I use the heatsink and fan that came with my XP 2600+, it runs at about 105f (41c) most of the time. Of course it helps that i have 4 other fans in the case also.
