I have a zip file on my website which I let people download. When some people click on the link (from AIM direction to the file.zip) some say it downloads instantly while others say it just makes a blank html page and waits for like 40 seconds before downloading. To try and fix this, I made the link go to a html document which has a link direction to the file.zip. The problem still remains there. Why is this? How do I fix it? Thanks!

its not a hosting problem is it? ie: only a certain amount of users can download at a time or whatever

nice, but maybe if like 10 or more people try to download at once they go in a queue? i dunno. it sounds like a hosting problem to me. i dont see how you can go wrong creating a html page with a download link on

Might depend on the browser they are using, with a 3TB data transfer rate, there shoudn't be a queue problem.

Well, It's not a "3TB Transfer Rate", is it. That's the Bandwidth Cap.

Yes yes I know, it's a typo and a misunderstanding.
If you have a cpanel on your server, check the amount of max connections allowed, I have an option to change it.
