Default Forums on site?

Hey guys,
For my Web Design class I have to build a webpage (duh). My final project is for my WoW guild. I want to add forums to the site, but it beyond me and my class does not teach me how to do that. Can someone help me out? I have Dreamweaver CS3, Visual Studio 2008, and Microsoft Access (yeah, they're legit) to work with. I will even take full code and credit the creator (it is allowed for my final project). I hope someone can help me because I'm pumped to start working more on this project! Thanks!

Can you use 3rd Party software or do you have to create your own forum?

I would use phpBB (a free forum solution). It'd be a lot easier than creating your own.

A 3rd party would be fine. A forum is not one of my final project requirement so it doesn't matter where I get the forum from.

I would use phpBB in that case. IMO it's easy to install, use and its free.

No worries. Just an idea of how easy it is. I've never used phpBB (my friend has but I haven't). I just installed it and got it up and running on a site of mine in 10 minutes. Now it just has the default look to it but still...

3 hours and you could have the board setup.
