Only because ASPX isn't on there

If you add the 11 for XML which you use in ASPX, the 6 for .NET which makes up the structure of APSX, 5 a third of the MySQL/MSSQL votes because MSSQL is the basis for ASPX, and all 30 of the Javascript votes because ASPX can use J#, then ASPX is ahead by 17

XML is eXtensible Markup Language, and doesn'y only apply to HTML... (XHTML)

it looks a little like HTML in as far as there is a tag system, but it is much more strinct.

and any data can beput into xml, so long as tags are opened and closed heirachicaly.

camers is right SQL isn't a web language, but its used extensivly in internet design,
