Default Embedding a video

Hello,

I've been trying to put a video on my webpage. So far, it has not worked out so well. What's the code for embedding an .AVI format video?

Let's say that the URL is http://domain.com/video/

Try something like this:
Code:
<object id="MediaPlayer1" CLASSID="CLSID:22d6f312-b0f6-11d0-94ab-0080c74c7e95" codebase="http://activex.microsoft.com/activex/controls/mplayer/en/nsmp2inf.cab#Version=5,1,52,701"
standby="Loading Microsoft Windows® Media Player components..." type="application/x-oleobject" width="280" height="256">
<param name="fileName" value="Kick_Baby_2.mpg">
<param name="animationatStart" value="true">
<param name="transparentatStart" value="true">
<param name="autoStart" value="true">
<param name="showControls" value="true">
<param name="Volume" value="-450">
<embed type="application/x-mplayer2" pluginspage="http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/MediaPlayer/" src="source/of/file.whatever" name="MediaPlayer1" width=280 height=256 autostart=1 showcontrols=1 volume=-450>
</object>
OR

Code:
<object classid="clsid:02BF25D5-8C17-4B23-BC80-D3488ABDDC6B" codebase="http://www.apple.com/qtactivex/qtplugin.cab" height="195" width="340" name="name" align="left">
<param name="src" value="movietrailers/trailer_sma.mov">
<param name="autoplay" value="true">
<param name="controller" value="true">
<embed height="195" width="340" align="left" src="source/of/file.avi" autoplay="true" controller="true">
</embed>
</object>
That is all I could come up with. You will have to edit this to suit your needs. I hope this helps!
