I'd highly recommend w3schools, it's where I learned HTML, great site. Lots of examples, it's easy to understand, and you can learn basically everything you'll need to know. It took me less than an hour to go through the basic and advanced HTML tutorials thoroughly.
On the other hand, you can use what you see is what you get editors. It'll basically be like designing in a Word document, and the editor will write the actual code for you. Some good ones are Microsoft Frontpage and Adobe Dreamweaver.
I'd recommend learning how to do the HTML yourself, it's more powerful as well as more rewarding. If you only have a short period of time to complete it though, you might want to check out Frontpage or Dreamweaver.
