most proxies work with ebuddy. dunno why this doesnt. nm. ive found a good one

Only problem with 'public proxy servers' they have a tendency to leak DNS requests.

Yes they do. Certain protocols will still leak information. Like the DNS protocol. However, TOR doesnt even leak DNS requests if configured properly.

BTW, I went to http://www.samair.ru/ and did a proxy test on www.tankproxy.com and it still leaks the OS and the web browser I was currently using.

If you are going to be using *web based proxies* then I would recommend disabling cookies in your web browser "first" before configuring the proxy server to work with your web browser.
