Default New site!

I just made a new site, it will kind of be my own business if I can get clients. Tell me what you think. I went for the more professional look.

The site looks like it's built from a template. And a pretty crap one at that. If you're in design you should know a lot more about it.

Ok, I updated it. I know I have alot to learn. I took your advise and will be offering free web design to build a bigger portfolio. Please Tell me what you think of the new layout. I appreciate the critisism. Thanks

Ok, I appreciate your efforts to give feedback but you all have been no help. All you have done is attempt to cut me down. Real cool web forum here.

If your site looked better we wouldn't criticise. Till it looks nice, we're gunna offer our opinion for a chance to better your site. We are only trying to help. You would at least expect a web designer to show some knowledge of web design.

What a snidey and juvenile comment to make. You've only shown yourself up as a dafty and a very immature one at that.

First off, not trying to offend you but if you want to be a web designer you have to be able to at least have an appealing website as your own. Web pages are rarely coded in JUST HTML, so if you want to offer your services to companies I suggest you learn some CSS or Javascript, I also suggest you learn to use flash.

Your page looks like a template you pulled off the internet or some web design program. Honestly when I first look at your site I think that it looks cheap and I immediately think you don't know much about web design other than HTML.

You also need to build your portfolio and put a bunch of templates to show your different skills and technique abilities.

Look at these sites, you will notice how professional they look. Not to mention they are unique and eye catching. These are companies I would hire to design a web page for me.

No one is trying to harp on you or say you suck, but they are being honest which if you can't handle honesty you might want to choose another profession/hobby.

Look around on the internet and see how many HTML only websites you find. It should tell you something.
