Default Home Page

For several years with Firefox I had my own customized home page. I started with basically a blank page and was able to add themes etc. through Netscape. My page consisted of blocks individual websites, in my case ,one was my local news station, one national news, the picture of the day, the Cincinnati Reds, etc. I was able to grab and drag to move them around. There were thousands of widgets that I could add. In Firefox there were themes through the add ons that I could use for the appearance. A new hard drive was installed which wiped all that off. Netscape no longer supports it , so I'm unable to use it again. Where do I go and what do I do to customize my home page to make it look really cool like before. I have Windows7. I'm really into this sort of thing and am depressed that I lost a really cool thing. Thanks for any input you might have.
