Default Choose Your Own Best Web Hosting, web design,i-phone development company.

Check the Following things before you choose your Webhosting company.
1) Disk space / Web Space
Web hosting companies offer these days 100 MB – 100 GB and More but they know you won't use all this disk space so they offer more to attract you only. trust me you need only 10-20 MB to host your single HTML website with 5 pages -50 pages. so never consider any web hosting because of the disk space, it's the last thing to consider when comparin.

2) Data Transfer (Traffic/Bandwidth)
Data Transfer is a thing must needs to taken care while purchasing hosting. You must ask the service provider that how much bandwidth you will require for your website. Be careful about the bandwidth which is the amount of data bytes transferred from your website to your visitors, it is calculated based on the images and text contents present on your website which moves from your web hosting to your visitors screen when they visit a certain webpage on your website, To Be very Honest Never believe in free or unlimited bandwidth because extra bandwidth costs the web hosting company and they have to pay for it so always go for web hosting that has a bandwidth of 1GB and up.

3) Server Downtime (% of Reliability)
Downtime is the amount of time per year when your server goes down and your visitors will not be able to see your website and you will lose them for your business. So must ask hosting provider and read their Service Level Agreement (SLA). The Service Provider must have the 99.5% server uptime reliability before you choose.

4) Control Panel
Check the Control Panel of the hosting company using for their servers. There is many control panels are available for linux and windows servers. cPanel/WHM Control Panel, Plesk, Dot Net Panel etc… Different Service provider have the different cpanel installation on their server. The Hosting Provide must give you knowledge about the control panel so what you won’t need to issue a support ticket to create an email account.

5) FTP, PHP, PERL,.htaccess, MySQL
FTP – File Transfer Protocol is a facility to upload your files to your hosting space, PHP and PERL are scripting language many web open sources are written using them for example WordPress is written in PHP and MySQL as the database end, don't ever think about sacrificing with PHP and MySQL. This two things are most needed things ever in the hosting.

6) Email, Autoresponders, POP3, Mail Forwarding
Your web hosting should let you create emails on your domain name so it will be in the format of "yourmail@yourdomain.com", always be careful of the emails disk space because it has some limitations.

7) Technical support
Technical Support Must be 24x7 with Telephonic & E-mail Facilities. The Account manager must be provided with your account.

8) Windows or Linux server
All PHP, MySQL and PERL related should run on LINUX servers but not ASP .net which is a windows scripting language on the other side most of the Windows servers are capable of running PHP, PERL and MySQL so you'll be surprised when I advise you it's better to host on LINUX servers that Windows for many reasons regarding reliability and performance.

Actually they are many reasons; I don't want to go through all of them as it's off point in my article.

Again remember, I can only help you to Host Your Website.
