Best way to advertise?

Im thinking of starting my own online store (I Run an ebay store,but the fee's are killing me!)

How would i advertise my online store? Has anyone been sucsessful in doing this?

you could advertise it on ebay
when you email people / if you can edit your page, then just include the URL. that should attract some people, then register with google. also make a facebook group or just add it to your page.

You can use google adwords or other advertising companies like adbite.

Also one of the best ways is word of mouth.. just spread the word to people you know in person and online and ask them to spread the word as well..

I also find a good way of getting the name around is affiliating with other sites, link exchanges,ect..
