I have it on the side for a while, then on the bottom, then on the side. Recently I've been doing Web Design, and the width is useful so its on the bottom.

i like it at the left hand side, but this only really works well if your resouloution is at 1280x1024 on a 19inch LCD

Yeah but you're just pushing the width down to not much over a normal screen.

i have a widescreen laptop so i have my taskbar on the right side and my quicklaunch and other toolbars on the left side....pretty sweet, but yea its hard to get used to haha

i remember my first computer, i put it at the top of the screen and it took me days to workout how to get it back.

Haha; when I got Windows 95 for the first time I was so confused I set it up to have no Taskbar, and to start up with dozens of Windows with Links in When copied File Explorer over and used it. Took me 3 days for it to become inconvenient...
