XP 32bit Vs Win7 64bit?

Using i7 920 quad core processor, what OS is faster?

I'm too poor to upgrade to win7.

For an i7 rig, win7 64bit is absolutely the better OS.

That'll be fine

You could always use Linux if you need a 64 bit OS

Hoe much RAM do you have?

Well if you use xp you will only be able to utilize 3GB from RAM, so i would definitely go with Mutant on the Linux 64bit.
