Do you think windows xp will get a `stay of execution`

Would you still use after the end date

To be honest Windows 7 will probably become the next XP after support ends next year..

yes i still use xp but not my main os

i like Windows 8 ............. and if i was really clever i probably could manage on linux alone

well if you are not gaming, then Linux might be a good idea. XP is kinda old. if i where you i will switch to a newer OS. Kubuntu is my personal favorite. i am using Win7, but that is only because of Gaming. you should be fine with Kubuntu/Ubuntu if you are just doing standard stuff like internet browsing and email. give it a try, it's free,

Yes windows 7 is the best OS for gaming and as echonatek said XP is getting old, It's funny that some games don't support 7 but they work there fine..
