Hi
I've recently clean installed windows 7 on my laptop. I had Wordperfect 10 on it before. After 7 was up and running I installed a trial of Wordperfect X5 standard edition. I tried to buy the Home and Student edition from for a week, but the online store never worked. So ended up going and buying the cd from futureshop. Got home and tried to install it, but it came up with the message "another version is installed. please remove it and proceed with installation". Didn't sounds like a problem.
After about 5 hours of deleting files, removing stuff from the registry and even restoring my computer back a week I can't get past that annoying message that another version is installed. I've tried everything I can think of with no success. I wouldn't put this much effort in but more than half my documents are in wpd so I need Wordperfect. Thanks for any input
